this is my first actual post

so, where we stand at this point is:

• i have a draft homepage
• i have not implemented any styles
• I've committed mentally to semantic HTML
• I'd like to have some kind of mobile publishing workflow
• I don't think that I want to get into HTMX yet...
• I will use minimal javascript and no dependencies
• I will do full standalone pages for the articles. It will be a PITA, that's OK. Part of this process, I think, is the discipline and zen of doing it right.
• I'll use imgur github to host images.
